Opening Day is Just Days Away!

In just over a week, we open the front gates for the first time in 2012. We’re eager to see your smiles and hear those squeals of excitement and laughter as you help us kick off another great summer of family fun at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari!

Gone to the Dummies
Mammoth: After making their rounds through all of our roller coasters, our faithful test dummies have taken to the water park this week. The test dummies are the first to get to summit the massive lift hill and whoosh their way through Mammoth!

SeaWorld’s Week of Wow continues!

At a tourism event in Los Angeles a few minutes ago, SeaWorld Orlando park execs revealed a few new details about Antarctica – Empire of the Penguin, the park’s 2013 new attraction. Execs also talked about SeaWorld Parks & Resorts – Orlando, and how SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica and Discovery Cove bring together their experiences, packaged with official hotels and exclusive benefits and values for vacationers.

Also:
Terry Prather, SeaWorld Orlando’s president, and Brian Morrow, chief attraction designer, both will be available this Friday at the media day and grand opening of TurtleTrek and will be able to share information with you about all the news coming from our parks.

Cedar Point Locals!
- Are you a TPR Member?
- Are you available on May 12th & 13th to ride roller coasters at Cedar Point on camera?

The Travel Channel is working on a new show and we need riders for Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster!

You need to be energetic, enthusiastic, willing to take direction, and be very patient. After all, during some film shoots, there is a lot of waiting around between shots. This is NOT an “ERT Session”, please keep that in mind, however it’s always possible you get to ride quite a few times.

You will need supply the following information:
- Your full Name
- Your Email address
- Your sex
- Your age
- If you have done any past film shoot/media events before

And send the information to: robbalvey@themeparkreview.com with the subject of “Cedar Point Film Shoot – TPR Member”

This film shoot is ONLY for TPR Members – No Guests.

Please email me ASAP, and I only have a handful of slots of available. I will give priority to people who can be at the shoot both days.

We encourage our members to sign up for this, as it’s a great opportunity, and it helps our relationship with the park.
